Dagger Stab: ABOUT US

Dagger Stab as a band was formed in the end of 2003. It goals is as a melting pot of musical ideas from a few friends that already involved with other bands before finally they have an initiatives to form this band. Musically Dagger Stab were influenced by bands from hardcore genre, with a bit of screamo and metal in our sounds. And it all melted down together from the different musical interest of the band's member, without wanting to be trapped in genre stereotypication.And their lyrics are mainly focusing on socio-political theme without forgetting the personal point of view of life in general that formed their awareness on what life is, that they poured in their works.

They dont claimed themselves as the best band and musicians on the planet by realizing that they're still learning from their mistakes and also by realising that there are a zillion other bands that sounds better compare to them, but the most important thing for them personally is theyre doing it not for pursuing fame or fortune but for the friendship that started it all in the first place; and making music that comes from their heart as a form of art without limitation and hopefully the kids also get the message and appreciate what they're doing...
